#1 Post by petkov17 » Thu Nov 29, 2007 2:41 pm

Hi,
I downloaded and instaled successfully GotoBLAS, but after that I did not obtain libgoto_p4_512-r0.6.so file. I obtained libgoto_core2p-r1.03.so file and during the compilation I got a error message: /opt/libs/libgoto/libgoto_p4_512-r0.6.so: could not read symbols: File in wrong format
make: *** [vasp] Error 1

The Platform which I use is EM64T (Intel Clovertown E5335) with OS SuSe 10.3 and ifort compiler

Could you help me please!

most probably this error shows up because the libgoto is in 32 bit mode, wehereas the compiler and your processor are 64 bit mode/architecture.
