Dear all,
I am writing to confirm that the units for the velocity in the CONTCAR file are in Angstrom/fs for vasp 5.x. I've seen older posts asking a similar question however I believe these may be for older versions of VASP.
We are calculating knock-on damages and the energies were are getting (assuming Angstrom/fs) are quite small. This is why we think there may be an issue with units.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
