Hi
I'm calculating the (Ga,Mn)As system. I've already done the calculations for FM and AFM spin alignment. Now I want to estimete the Curie temperature. How do that?

How to determine Curie temperature?
A crude approximation to the Curie temperature would be the energy difference between the ferromagnetic state and the paramagnetic state at T=0 K. The antiferromagnetic state can usually be a poor representation of the paramagnetic state so you will have to use the commonly applied approaches (check the literature) to calculate the paramagnetic state. Then the temperature effects (phonons, Fermi electron smearing, thermal expansion) can have a large impact. So I think you need to first consider how accurate you want to calculate the Curie temperature and proceed accordingly.

Thank you for answer. I wasn't sure if I think correctly about the paramagnetic state, but now I know.
