soft and total charge density in OUTCAR
Could you please help me understand the paragraphs under the headings in OUTCAR(for spin component=1; ISPIN=2):
soft charge-density along one line, spin component 1
total charge-density along one line
pseudopotential strength for first ion, spin component: 1
total augmentation occupancy for first ion, spin component: 1
I also would like to know how jellium model (background charge) is used in VASP and related jellium density. Some references/links will serve me.
Thanks
